Housing That Supports Independence
Individuals are referred to Upward Housing C.I.C following a professional assessment to ensure their housing needs can be appropriately met.
Our residents may have a range of support requirements, including learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, acquired brain injuries, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, or dementia.
Supported living and extra-care housing provide an alternative to traditional residential care settings. Residents benefit from having their own home and tenancy agreement while receiving the support needed to live safely, confidently, and independently within their community.
Our Role as Your Housing Provider
As the housing provider and landlord, Upward Housing C.I.C is responsible for delivering and maintaining high-quality accommodation. We ensure every property is safe, well-maintained, and suitable for the individual needs of our residents.

Supporting Successful Tenancies
Alongside providing accommodation, we recognise that many individuals benefit from housing-related support to help them maintain their tenancy and maximise their independence.
This support may include assistance with understanding tenancy responsibilities, managing housing benefit entitlements, accessing relevant services, developing independent living skills, and promoting emotional wellbeing. By providing the right support at the right time, we help residents build confidence and sustain successful tenancies for the long term.
